Historic Rocky Mount

The Community Partnership for Revitalization is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the visual aspects, to increase the economic strengths,
and to promote the unique assets of Rocky Mount and Franklin County by utilizing a preservation-based approach to community development.

The Community Partnership became a participant in the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Main Street Program and the Virginia Main Street Program in 1995. The Historic Central Business District is listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places.

The organization receives support from the Town of Rocky Mount, Franklin County, property and business owners, as well as charitable citizens and dedicated community volunteers. The Main Street Program is housed within the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development.
