Event Overview
Join us for Come Home to Franklin County Christmas in Historic Downtown Rocky Mount. This annual holiday celebration takes place along Franklin Street (between Angle Bridge and Floyd Avenue) and welcomes thousands of visitors for festive shopping, dining, and entertainment. We are excited to invite food and craft vendors to be part of this holiday tradition.
Vendor Agreement & Requirements
By submitting an application and payment, vendors agree to comply with the following terms:
1. Application & Payment

Vendor applications must be approved by Community Partnership before payment is accepted

Approved vendors will receive a PayPal invoice for their booth fee.

Payment deadline: November 24, 2025. Spaces are not guaranteed until full payment is received.

Vendors who do not submit payment by the deadline will forfeit their space.
2. Booth Information
-
Standard booth size: 10’ x 10’ (unless otherwise approved).
-
Vendors must supply their own tent, tables, chairs, lighting, and signage.

Booths must be illuminated so visitors can clearly view products.
-
Vendors are responsible for keeping their area clean and removing all trash at the end of the event.
3. Set-Up & Tear-Down

Street Closure: Franklin Street closes at 12:00 PM.

Vendor Check-In & Unloading: Access through Claiborne Street to Franklin Street. Vendors must unload at their assigned space.

Deadline: Vendors must be in place by 3:00 PM. Vendors arriving after 3:00 PM may be denied entry.

After unloading, all vehicles must be moved to public parking. No vehicles are permitted on Franklin Street during the event.

Tear-down begins immediately after the event and must be completed the same evening.

Franklin Street will reopen at 9:00p - all equipment and trash must be removed by this time.
4. Power & Heat Regulations

Electricity is not provided. Vendors must bring their own power sources.

Recommended options: battery packs or solar power.

Gas generators require pre-approval and must follow event safety guidelines.

Space heaters of any kind (propane, electric, or otherwise) are strictly prohibited due to fire code restrictions. Violations may result in fines or legal action.

Vendors should dress appropriately for outdoor winter weather conditions.
5. Food Vendors

Must hold all necessary health permits and licenses.

Permit application deadline: November 15, 2025 (no exceptions).

All Health Department rules must be followed. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in vendor spaces.
6. Marketing & Promotion
-
Community Partnership will promote the event through Facebook, B99.9 FM, Cable 12, and other outlets.
-
Vendors are strongly encouraged to self-promote via social media, word of mouth, and customer networks.
7. Weather Policy
-
The event will proceed rain or shine.
-
Only extreme weather will cause cancellation, as determined by Community Partnership the morning of the event.

Announcements will be made on B99.9 FM and Community Partnership’s Facebook page.
-
There is no rain date and no refunds.
